We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Practitioner to join our Neighborhood Team in Harrow. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified social worker to make a significant impact in the community. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a small team of social workers and support staff, ensuring high-quality care and support for children and families in need. You will work collaboratively with various agencies and stakeholders to promote the welfare of vulnerable individuals and improve outcomes for those we serve.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing expert guidance and support to team members, fostering a culture of continuous professional development.
  • Managing a complex caseload, conducting assessments, and developing tailored intervention plans.
  • Working closely with families to empower them and facilitate access to necessary resources and services.
  • Conducting regular supervision and performance reviews to ensure compliance with policies and best practices.
  • Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to strategic planning initiatives.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent).
  • Current registration with Social Work England.
  • Significant experience in child protection and safeguarding.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
