We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our Adults Social Care team in Reading, offering a competitive rate of Β£38 per hour. This hybrid position is for an initial duration of 6 months, providing an excellent opportunity for professionals looking to make a significant impact in the community while benefiting from flexible working arrangements.

As a Qualified Social Worker, you will be responsible for a range of key duties including:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of service users to identify needs and risks.
  • Developing and implementing care plans tailored to individual circumstances.

  • Providing support and guidance to service users and their families, promoting independence and well-being.

The ideal candidate will possess essential qualifications and skills, including:

  • A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Current registration with Social Work England.
  • Proven experience in adult social care, particularly in assessment and care planning.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse populations.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively.
