Social Worker - Safeguarding Team

£100 per week accommodation allowance
Caritas Recruitment is working with Oxfordshire County Council to recruit an experienced Social Worker to join their Safeguarding Team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a Good-rated Ofsted authority that continues to invest in Children's Services through its innovative Family Solutions Plus (FSP) model, helping children and families achieve positive outcomes through restorative, relationship-based practice.
About the Role
- You will manage a caseload of children and families, completing assessments, undertaking safeguarding investigations, and supporting children through Child Protection, Child in Need and court processes.
- You'll work closely with partner agencies and use a strengths-based approach to achieve the best outcomes for families.
Requirements
- Social Work England registration
- Minimum 3 years' post-qualified Children's Social Work experience
Strong experience of:
- Child Protection (CP)
- Child in Need (CIN)
- Public Law Outline (PLO)
- Court work and care proceedings
- Excellent assessment and report-writing skills
- Ability to travel for visits and meetings across the county
Working Pattern
- 37 hours per week
- Monday to Thursday: 8:30am - 5:00pm
- Friday: 8:30am - 4:00pm
