Join our dedicated Safeguarding Team in Oxfordshire as an Adult's Social Worker, where you will play a crucial role in protecting vulnerable adults and promoting their well-being. In this position, you will work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to assess needs, develop care plans, and ensure the safeguarding of individuals at risk. Your expertise will contribute to making a positive difference in the lives of those you serve, ensuring their rights and dignity are upheld.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of adults in need of safeguarding interventions.
  • Developing and implementing person-centered care plans in collaboration with service users and their families.
  • Monitoring and reviewing care plans to ensure ongoing effectiveness and compliance with safeguarding standards.
  • Providing support and guidance to individuals, families, and other professionals in safeguarding matters.
  • Documenting case notes and reports accurately, adhering to local policies and procedures.

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Proven experience in adult safeguarding and knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse populations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a commitment to continuous professional development.
