We are seeking a passionate and qualified Social Worker to join our team, focusing on Children with Disabilities. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing the needs of children and their families, developing and implementing tailored support plans, and ensuring that all interventions are in line with statutory requirements and best practice guidelines.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of children with disabilities and their families.
- Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to develop and deliver effective care plans.
- Providing direct support and guidance to children and their families, ensuring their voices are heard.
- Monitoring and reviewing progress against care plans, adjusting as necessary to meet changing needs.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in accordance with local authority policies.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A recognized Social Work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Proven experience working with children and families, particularly those with disabilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse families.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively.
