Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting assessments and developing care plans tailored to the needs of children and families.
  • Working closely with multi-agency teams to safeguard children and promote their welfare.
  • Providing direct support and intervention to children and families, ensuring their voices are heard.
  • Maintaining accurate records and case files in compliance with local policies and procedures.
  • Participating in court proceedings and presenting evidence when required.

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Proven experience in child protection and safeguarding practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with families and professionals.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively.
