Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting thorough assessments of potential foster carers and children in care.
- Developing and reviewing care plans in collaboration with children, foster families, and other professionals.
- Providing ongoing support, training, and guidance to foster carers.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.
- Participating in multi-agency meetings to advocate for the best interests of children.
The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized Social Work qualification ("e.g., BA Social Work, MA Social Work").
- Current registration with Social Work England.
- Experience in fostering or child protection services.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and manage a diverse caseload effectively.
