Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting thorough assessments of children and families in need of support.
- Collaborating with partner agencies to gather information and develop comprehensive safeguarding plans.
- Providing direct support and intervention to families, ensuring their needs are met.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation in line with local and national standards.
- Participating in regular team meetings and case discussions to share insights and best practices.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Demonstrable experience in child protection and safeguarding.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multi-agency environment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
