Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of families in need of support and safeguarding interventions.
- Developing and implementing tailored support plans in collaboration with families and other professionals.
- Providing ongoing support and guidance to families, ensuring they have access to necessary resources and services.
- Monitoring and reviewing progress, adjusting plans as necessary to meet evolving family needs.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in compliance with local and national standards.
- Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to child protection conferences.
To be considered for this position, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Proven experience in family support and safeguarding, preferably within a local authority setting.
- Strong understanding of relevant legislation and statutory guidance.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- The ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities.
