As a Children's Social Worker in the Family Safeguarding Team, your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the needs and risks for children and families.
- Developing and implementing effective intervention plans to promote positive family outcomes.
- Working closely with multi-disciplinary teams, including health, education, and voluntary sector partners.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with local and national standards.
- Providing support and guidance to families, helping them to access appropriate services and resources.
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Experience in children and family social work, particularly in safeguarding settings.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices in child protection and safeguarding.
