We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Children's Independent Domestic Violence Advocate (IDVA) to join our dynamic team in Sefton. This role is crucial in providing support and advocacy for children affected by domestic violence, ensuring their safety and well-being. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with families, schools, and other agencies to create a safe environment for children and empower them to overcome the challenges they face.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing direct support and advocacy to children and young people experiencing domestic violence.
  • Conducting risk assessments and safety planning tailored to the unique needs of children.
  • Facilitating access to relevant services, including counseling, education, and health support.

Essential qualifications and skills include:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships.
