Join our dedicated Quality Practice & Safeguarding Team (Adults) in East Sussex as a Senior Practitioner (Part-time - 22.5 hours per week). In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of practice in safeguarding adults, promoting their welfare, and enhancing their quality of life. Your expertise will guide and mentor junior staff while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to assess and manage complex cases effectively.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading safeguarding investigations and ensuring compliance with relevant policies and legislation.
- Providing expert supervision and support to social workers and other team members.
- Conducting assessments and developing care plans tailored to individual needs.
- Facilitating training and development opportunities to enhance team capabilities.
- Building strong relationships with external agencies and stakeholders to promote integrated service delivery.
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A relevant social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Significant post-qualification experience in adult social work, particularly in safeguarding.
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices in adult safeguarding.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities.
