As a Qualified Social Worker, you will be responsible for assessing and addressing the needs of vulnerable children and their families, working collaboratively with various stakeholders to create a safe and nurturing environment.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of children's needs and risks.
- Developing and implementing tailored safeguarding plans in partnership with families and other professionals.
- Providing ongoing support and guidance to children and their families.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.
- Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to child protection conferences.
To be successful in this role, you will need the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work or equivalent).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Demonstrable experience in child protection and safeguarding.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities.
