Join our dedicated Children's Social Work team in Leeds as a Qualified Social Worker specializing in Children and Families (C&F). This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children and families in our community. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing the needs of children and their families, developing and implementing care plans, and ensuring that vulnerable children receive the support and protection they need.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.
  • Developing and implementing effective intervention strategies and care plans.
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with local policies and procedures.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including health professionals, educators, and community organizations.
  • Providing support and guidance to families to promote positive outcomes for children.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Current registration with Social Work England.
  • Experience working with children and families in a social work setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
  • Sound knowledge of child protection legislation and safeguarding practices.
