We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Social Worker to join our CIC Court Team in Northamptonshire (Kettering) on a competitive hourly rate of £38 p/h umbrella. This role is pivotal in ensuring the welfare and protection of children within the court system, providing vital support to families, and working collaboratively with various stakeholders.
As a Social Worker in the CIC Court Team, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to determine their needs and risks.
- Preparing detailed reports for court hearings, including recommendations for the welfare of the child.
- Working closely with legal professionals, parents, and other agencies to develop and implement care plans.
- Participating in court proceedings and presenting evidence as required.
- Providing ongoing support and guidance to families, ensuring they have access to necessary resources.
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Current registration with Social Work England.
- Proven experience in child protection and court work.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
- Excellent report writing and analytical skills.
