Caritas Recruitment is currently recruiting for experienced SEND Case Workers on behalf of Derbyshire.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy SEND Service and support the management of Education, Health and Care (EHC) processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing the EHC Needs Assessment process
- Coordinating Annual Reviews
- Managing non-complex SEND casework
- Ensuring statutory timescales and processes are met
- Working collaboratively with schools, parents, carers and professionals
- Supporting positive outcomes for children and young people with SEND
Requirements
- Previous SEND Casework experience within a Local Authority
- Strong knowledge of EHCP legislation and SEND processes
- Experience managing assessments and reviews
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
