We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Practitioner to join the Family Help Team in Herefordshire. This role is an exciting opportunity for a qualified social worker to make a significant impact on the lives of families in need. With a competitive rate of £33.30 per hour (Umbrella), this position offers the chance to work in a dynamic environment where your expertise will be valued and utilized effectively.

As a Senior Practitioner, you will be responsible for a variety of key duties, including:

  • Providing high-quality social work assessments and interventions for families.
  • Leading and supervising a team of social workers and support staff.
  • Collaborating with multi-agency partners to ensure comprehensive support for families.
  • Maintaining accurate case records and documentation in accordance with local policies.
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of service improvements.

To be considered for this role, you must possess essential qualifications and skills, including:

  • A recognized social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work, CQSW, or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Significant post-qualification experience, particularly in family support or child protection.
  • Strong assessment and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
