This role is pivotal in supporting families and ensuring the safety and well-being of children in our community. As a key member of our team, you will work collaboratively with families, providing guidance and resources to help them thrive.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.
  • Developing and implementing support plans in partnership with families and other professionals.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and reports.
  • Participating in multi-agency meetings to ensure comprehensive support for children and families.
  • Providing advice and support to families, promoting positive parenting and family dynamics.

To be successful in this role, you will need the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Proven experience in children's social work, particularly in family support settings.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with families.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a varied caseload effectively.
