Caritas Recruitment is recruiting for an experienced Senior Social Worker to join the Haverhill Social Care Team.
This is a fast-paced frontline role working with children and families across a range of statutory services, including Child in Need, Child Protection, Looked After Children, Child Assessment, and Support & Prevention.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake assessments for children aged 0-17
- Manage Child in Need (CIN) and Child Protection (CP) plans
- Hold and progress complex caseloads
- Work directly with children, families and partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes
- Contribute to a busy assessment service and provide support throughout the child's journey
Requirements
- Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration
- Previous experience within an Assessment Team is essential
- Strong knowledge of:
- Child in Need
- Child Protection
- Looked After Children
- Assessments
- Support & Prevention
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
