Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of children's and families' needs.
  • Developing and implementing support plans in partnership with families.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.
  • Collaborating with multi-agency partners to ensure holistic support for families.
  • Providing guidance and support to families, helping them access resources and services.
  • Participating in regular team meetings and supervision sessions for professional development.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognised social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Current registration with Social Work England (SWE).
  • Experience working with children and families in a social work setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with families.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage a diverse caseload.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices in child welfare.
