As a member of our CIC Team, your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the needs of children and their families.
- Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with children, families, and other professionals.
- Building trusting relationships with children and their caregivers to foster a supportive environment.
- Monitoring and reviewing the progress of care plans, ensuring timely interventions as necessary.
- Representing the interests of children in court proceedings and multi-agency meetings.
To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work).
- Current registration with Social Work England.
- Proven experience in children’s social work, particularly within a CIC setting.
- Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children, families, and colleagues.
