We are seeking an experienced Social Worker to provide high-quality assessments, interventions, and support to vulnerable children and their families.
As a Social Worker in our CP/Safeguarding Team, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.
- Developing and implementing effective care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals.
- Monitoring and reviewing cases to ensure the safety and welfare of children.
- Providing support and guidance to families, helping them navigate challenges and access resources.
- Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including schools, health services, and law enforcement.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Current registration with Social Work England.
- Demonstrable experience in child protection and safeguarding.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively.
- A commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated on best practices.
