Join our dedicated Children's First Response Team in Harrow as a Qualified Social Worker, where you will play a crucial role in safeguarding and supporting vulnerable children and families. Your primary responsibility will be to respond to referrals and assess the needs of children in crisis situations, ensuring their safety and well-being. You will work collaboratively with various stakeholders, including families, schools, and other agencies, to develop and implement effective intervention plans.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting thorough assessments of children and families in need of support.
  • Developing and implementing child protection plans in accordance with statutory guidelines.
  • Providing ongoing support and guidance to families to promote positive outcomes.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.
  • Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to case discussions.

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Registered with Social Work England.
  • Proven experience in child protection and safeguarding.
  • Strong assessment, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities.
