The London Borough of Lambeth is seeking a passionate and dedicated Qualified Social Worker to join our Children's TM - CWD Team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting children with disabilities and their families, ensuring their needs are met through effective assessment and intervention strategies. As a Qualified Social Worker, your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and develop appropriate support plans.
- Working collaboratively with multi-agency partners to deliver integrated services that enhance the well-being of children with disabilities.
- Providing ongoing support and guidance to families, ensuring they have access to relevant resources and services.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with statutory requirements and best practices.
- Participating in regular supervision and training to further develop your skills and knowledge in social work practice.
The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Demonstrated experience in working with children and families, particularly those with disabilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and their families.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
