As a Children's Social Worker within our Locality Team, your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.
- Developing and implementing child protection plans and care plans in partnership with families and other professionals.
- Providing ongoing support and guidance to children and families, ensuring their voices are heard and respected.
- Working collaboratively with multi-agency teams to ensure a holistic approach to service delivery.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and reports in compliance with statutory requirements.
The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Experience in children's services and a solid understanding of child protection legislation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively.
