Achieving for Children is seeking a passionate and dedicated Qualified Social Worker to join our Children’s Social Work - Children’s Services Team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families within our community. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality social work services, ensuring the safety and well‑being of children, and promoting positive outcomes for families.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assessing the needs of children and families, developing and implementing effective intervention plans.
  • Working collaboratively with multi-agency partners to ensure integrated support for children and families.
  • Carrying out statutory duties, including child protection investigations, court reports, and care planning.
  • Maintaining accurate and up‑to‑date case records and documentation.
  • Providing support and guidance to children and families, empowering them to make positive changes.

The ideal candidate will possess essential qualifications and skills, including:

  • A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work).
  • Current registration with Social Work England.
  • Proven experience in children’s social work, particularly in safeguarding and child protection.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
  • The ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment and manage a diverse caseload.
