We are seeking a passionate and skilled Qualified Social Worker who is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing the needs of children in care, developing and implementing care plans, and ensuring that their voices are heard and respected.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.
- Developing and implementing effective care plans in collaboration with children, families, and other professionals.
- Monitoring and reviewing the progress of children in care, ensuring their well-being and safety.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues, external agencies, and stakeholders to provide holistic support.
The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Demonstrated experience in children's social work, particularly within a CIC setting.
- Strong understanding of relevant legislation and safeguarding practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
