Social Worker - MASH - Cheshire East in Chester

Cheshire East is seeking a dedicated and passionate Social Worker to join our Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH). In this pivotal role, you will work collaboratively with a range of professionals to ensure the safety and well-being of vulnerable children and families within the community. You will be responsible for assessing and managing risk, providing support, and ensuring that appropriate interventions are put in place to protect those in need.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting initial assessments and safeguarding investigations.
• Collaborating with partner agencies to share information and develop comprehensive support plans.
• Maintaining accurate and timely records of casework activities.
• Providing expert advice and guidance to colleagues and stakeholders.
• Engaging with families to build trusting relationships and promote positive outcomes.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

• A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work).
• Registration with Social Work England.
• Proven experience in child protection and safeguarding.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities.
