Cambridgeshire is seeking a qualified Children's Social Worker to join our Family Safeguarding Team. In this role, you will play a vital part in safeguarding children, working collaboratively with families to promote their well-being and ensure their safety. Your expertise will help us create a supportive environment where children can thrive.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting thorough assessments of children's needs and risks within the family context.
  • Developing and implementing effective intervention plans in collaboration with families and other professionals.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with local policies and procedures.
  • Participating in multi-agency meetings, providing insights and recommendations to safeguard children.
  • Offering support and guidance to families, empowering them to make positive changes.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized Social Work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent).
  • Current Social Work registration with Social Work England.
  • Proven experience in children's social work, particularly in safeguarding.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with families.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
