We are seeking a qualified Children's Social Worker to join a Family Safeguarding Team in Bury. This is an opportunity to work within a supportive, multi-disciplinary environment focused on improving outcomes for children, young people and their families. You will manage a varied caseload involving complex safeguarding concerns, assessing risk and need while ensuring that children remain at the centre of all decision-making.

Your responsibilities will include completing thorough assessments, developing and reviewing child protection and family plans, and undertaking statutory visits in accordance with relevant legislation and professional standards. You will work collaboratively with parents, carers, schools, health professionals, police and other partner agencies to identify strengths, reduce risk and promote sustainable change. A commitment to safeguarding, participation and anti-discriminatory practice is vital.
