We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Practitioner to join our team in Bromley, focusing on supporting children with disabilities. This role is critical in ensuring that children receive the necessary care and support to thrive in their environment. You will be working closely with families, schools, and other professionals to develop and implement effective care plans tailored to each child's unique needs.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Assessing the needs of children with disabilities and their families, providing expert guidance and support.
- Developing, implementing, and reviewing care plans in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams.
- Providing supervision and support to junior practitioners and volunteers, fostering a culture of learning and development.
- Engaging with families to ensure their voices are heard and their needs are prioritized in service delivery.
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with local and national policies and regulations.
The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A relevant degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
- Significant experience working with children with disabilities and their families.
- Strong knowledge of child protection legislation and safeguarding practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Proven leadership abilities, with experience in mentoring and supervising staff.
