We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Social Worker to join our Fostering team in Bradford. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified professional to make a significant impact on the lives of vulnerable children and families within our community. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing support, guidance, and advocacy to foster families, ensuring the best outcomes for children in care.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting assessments and reviews of foster placements to ensure the safety and well-being of children.
  • Providing expert supervision and support to foster carers, facilitating training and development opportunities.
  • Collaborating with multi-agency teams to develop and implement effective care plans.
  • Managing a complex caseload, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and best practice guidelines.

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Current Social Work England registration.
  • Significant experience in fostering or child protection services.
  • Strong assessment, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and manage competing priorities.
