We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Qualified Social Worker to join our Children’s TM - C&F Team in Bradford. In this rewarding role, you will play a crucial part in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and families within our community. As a member of our dynamic team, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing care plans, and providing ongoing support to children and their families to ensure their needs are met effectively.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.
- Developing, implementing, and reviewing care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals.
- Providing support and guidance to families, ensuring they have access to necessary resources and services.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with statutory requirements.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies to ensure a holistic approach to child welfare.
The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Registered with Social Work England.
- Experience working within children's social services, particularly in child protection and family support.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and frameworks pertaining to child welfare and safeguarding.
