We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Children's Social Work (CSW) Team in Blackburn. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual committed to making a positive impact on the lives of children and families. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a diverse team to ensure the safety and well-being of children in our care, providing support and guidance to families in need.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of children's needs and risks.
  • Developing, implementing, and reviewing care plans in partnership with families.
  • Managing a caseload effectively, ensuring timely interventions and support.
  • Collaborating with external agencies and professionals to safeguard children.
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with local and national policies.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work, CQSW, or DipSW).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Experience in children's social work, particularly in safeguarding and child protection.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.

Additional requirements include a full driving license and access to a vehicle for work purposes.
