Children's SW - Care & Learning Team - Birmingham

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Children's Social Work - Care & Learning Team in Birmingham. This role is pivotal in supporting children and families within our community, ensuring their safety, well-being, and development. You will work collaboratively with various stakeholders, including families, schools, and other professionals, to deliver high-quality social care services.

As a Qualified Social Worker, your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.
• Developing and implementing tailored care plans to support children's welfare and development.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with legal and organisational standards.
• Working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure integrated service delivery.
• Providing support and guidance to families, empowering them to make positive changes.
• Participating in court proceedings and providing expert testimony as required.

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

• A recognised social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent).
• Registration with Social Work England.
• Proven experience in children's social work, particularly in a care and learning context.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families.
• Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices.
