Caritas Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced Children's MASH Social Worker to join a busy and supportive Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified and experienced social worker who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about safeguarding children and supporting families at the earliest point of intervention.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake effective screening and assessment of referrals.
- Gather and analyse information from partner agencies to inform decision-making.
- Identify levels of risk and need, ensuring appropriate safeguarding measures are in place.
- Make timely recommendations and decisions regarding next steps for children and families.
- Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners to achieve positive outcomes.
Requirements
- Social Work England registration.
- Qualified Social Worker with post-qualification experience within Children’s Services.
- Previous MASH, Front Door, Assessment, or Safeguarding experience.
- Strong risk assessment and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multi-agency setting.
