We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Adult's Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team in Barnsley. In this rewarding role, you will work collaboratively with clients to enhance their ability to participate in daily activities. Your expertise will be pivotal in assessing clients’ needs, developing tailored treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic interventions that promote independence and improve quality of life.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify clients’ strengths and challenges.
  • Designing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
  • Providing direct therapy services to clients in various settings, including clinics and community programs.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care for clients.
  • Monitoring and documenting client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Educating clients and their families about therapeutic techniques and strategies for daily living.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and families.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience working with adult clients in various settings is preferred.
