We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Adult's Social Work - Learning Disabilities Team in Middlesbrough. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to make a meaningful impact on the lives of adults with learning disabilities, ensuring they receive the support and care they need to thrive in their communities.

As a Qualified Social Worker in our team, you will be responsible for a range of key duties, including:

  • Conducting assessments and developing care plans tailored to individual needs.
  • Working collaboratively with service users, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote positive outcomes.
  • Providing support and guidance to individuals and their families, ensuring they understand available services and resources.
  • Monitoring and reviewing care plans to ensure they remain effective and relevant.
  • Advocating for the rights and needs of adults with learning disabilities within the community.

The ideal candidate will possess essential qualifications and skills, including:

  • A recognized social work qualification (Degree in Social Work or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Experience in working with adults with learning disabilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
