As an Adult's Occupational Therapist, your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify clients’ physical, emotional, and social needs.
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
- Providing therapeutic interventions to enhance clients' daily living skills and promote independence.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and social workers, to ensure holistic care.
- Documenting client progress and maintaining accurate records in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Educating clients and their families about therapeutic techniques and strategies for ongoing support.
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
- Experience working with adults in an clinical or community setting is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
