Caritas Hospitality Service ("CHS") is one of the services of Caritas - Hong Kong, a charitable organization and official social service agency of the Catholic Diocese of Hong Kong. CHS embraces Lodge, Hostel and Catering Services. The Lodges and Hostels provide comfortable and affordable accommodation for local people, travellers, students and overseas expatriate living away from home. Catering service includes restaurants, fast food, in-house and outside catering service.

Lodge Manager
Caritas Oswald Cheung International House

Duties and Responsibilities :

Formulate annual business and budget plan and to achieve pre-set sales targets;

Oversee and ensure daily smooth operations including reception, reservation, housekeeping and engineering teams;

Provide supervision and training to team members;

Work closely with F&B, Sales and Marketing Department and sister service units to ensure maximizing sales, provide good customer service and meet the bottom line budget;

Handle guest complaints, emergency cases in a professional manner; and

Perform ad-hoc job tasks assigned by management

Qualifications and Requirements :

Higher Diploma in Hospitality Management or related disciplines;

Minimum 8 years working experience as Front Office Manager or Operation Manager in hotels;

Good command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and Putonghua;

Familiar with hotel PMS and online travel portals;

Proficient in office software applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint; and

Energetic, independent, outgoing, patient, good communication and interpersonal skills, with a heart to serve.
