About the role
We are recruiting a Health Link Worker who will be based at our Cornerstone Day Centre — a community centre for people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate the Homeless Health Hub and engage with people who come to Cornerstone about our health offer, encouraging uptake.
- Organise and run health promotion and wellbeing activities such as gardening, health walks and creative activities.
- Support and motivate people using the service to see onsite health professionals or access mainstream health services.
Qualifications & Experience
- Excellent customer service and IT skills.
- Ability to motivate and support people to make positive health choices and lifestyle changes.
- Experience promoting health care and wellbeing, and working with people who are homeless or who have substance or mental health problems in a community setting.
Working Conditions
- Hours: 37.5 per week, 9 am – 5 pm, Monday to Friday.
- This is a fixed‑term contract until 31 March 2029.
