Join a caring team where your support helps create a warm, comfortable home for our clients. This part-time position (16+ hours per fortnight) is with Carinity Home Care – Toowoomba, a Not-for-Profit organisation. The role provides domestic assistance and supports holistic care within clients’ homes. The Home Care team works to maintain an acceptable standard of living for clients, collaborates for effective outcomes, and adheres to standards. Availability is Monday to Friday with varied shifts typically between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm.
Responsibilities
- Provide effective and efficient domestic assistance in clients’ homes, including transportation, food preparation, laundry, and cleaning services.
- Support holistic care and contribute to maintaining clients’ standard of living.
- Collaborate with the Home Care team to achieve positive outcomes and adhere to standards.
What you need for the role
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Certification and/or relevant experience in hospitality and/or health and aged care.
- Previous experience in aged care or similar roles is advantageous.
- Hold a current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
- Current Driver’s Licence and own transport.
