Are you an organised, detail-focused multitasker who enjoys supporting people and keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes? Caring Kindergartens are looking for a friendly and proactive HR, Payroll & Nursery Administration Assistant to join our Head Office team and support our group of nurseries. This varied and rewarding role is perfect for someone who thrives in a busy environment — from supporting accurate payroll and HR administration, to helping nurseries with funding, invoicing, and day-to-day operational support. This is a part-time role (hours and working week can be negotiated at interview stage for the right applicant).
What You’ll Do
- Maintain and update HR records, ensuring all employee information is accurate and up to date.
- Be responsible for recruitment and onboarding, including contracts and new starter paperwork.
- Use internal systems to keep HR and finance information organised and compliant.
- Support the monthly payroll process, ensuring accurate data entry and timely submissions.
- Assist with pension administration and respond to payroll-related queries.
- Be responsible for funding administration and invoicing processes for set nurseries and to offer back up support to the HO team during annual leave and at busy times.
- Provide friendly, efficient administrative support to nursery teams and Head Office and take on ad-hoc projects as requested.
- Help resolve day-to-day queries and support problem-solving across the business.
