We are looking for a passionate Gardener to join our dedicated Care Home. We believe that the beauty of nature plays a vital role in enhancing the wellbeing of our residents. Responsibilities

  • Maintain and nurture our beautiful garden, preparing it for the new growth and vibrant colours of Spring.
  • Plant seasonal flowers, trim hedges, and care for our outdoor spaces to ensure they remain safe, welcoming, and beautiful.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the garden areas, ensuring they are tidy and well-kept.
  • Collaborate with the Maintenance Person to ensure the garden offers sensory experiences that are both calming and engaging for our residents.
  • Help prepare and maintain garden areas for seasonal changes as Spring approaches.

  • A positive, friendly attitude with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • An appreciation for the therapeutic benefits of nature, especially for elderly residents with dementia or nursing care needs.
  • Enjoys creating outdoor spaces that bring joy and comfort to others.
