As a Learning and Development Training Specialist, you will lead on apprenticeship success, providing structured support to learners throughout their apprenticeship journey. You will act as a key point of contact for apprentices, offering guidance, coaching, and pastoral support to help them remain engaged, overcome challenges, and successfully achieve their qualifications.
Alongside learner support, you will organise, coordinate, schedule, and track apprenticeship and wider training programmes, ensuring all learning activities, reviews, assessments, and milestones are completed on time and in line with awarding body, funding, and organisational requirements. You will maintain accurate training records, monitor progress against plans, and proactively address any risks to completion or performance.
Reporting to the Talent and Development Manager, you will work closely with trainers, line managers, and external training providers to deliver high-quality, effective learning experiences. You will support managers in developing their apprentices, contribute to continuous improvement of learning programmes, and use data and feedback to enhance learner outcomes and programme effectiveness.

Responsibilities:
- Lead on apprenticeship success, providing guidance, coaching, and pastoral support to ensure learners stay engaged and achieve their qualifications.
- Organise, coordinate, schedule, and track apprenticeship and wider training programmes, ensuring timely completion of learning activities, assessments, and milestones.
- Maintain accurate records of learner progress, monitor development needs, and proactively address any risks to completion or performance.
- Collaborate with trainers, line managers, and external providers to deliver high-quality, effective learning experiences.
- Support managers in developing their apprentices, providing tools and insights to maximise learner performance.
- Coordinate training sessions, workshops, and e-learning programs.
- Manage the training calendar, logistics, and LMS records.
- Assist in designing and updating training materials.
- Partner with trainers and external providers for quality learning delivery.
- Collect feedback, update content, and improve training effectiveness.
- Manage the training inbox and apprenticeship program compliance.
