Responsibilities

  • Oversee the housekeeping department and team, ensuring all areas of the home are clean, tidy, and well-maintained.
  • Develop and implement cleaning schedules and protocols to meet health and safety standards.
  • Lead, mentor, and support the housekeeping team to deliver exceptional service.
  • Conduct regular assessments and audits to maintain and improve cleanliness standards.
  • Manage inventory and order supplies as needed.
  • Build positive relationships with residents and staff, contributing to a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate team members.

Ideal Candidate

  • Previous experience in a housekeeping supervisory role, preferably in a healthcare or residential setting.
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
