Responsibilities

  • Support the Head Chef in the efficient and economical operation of the catering department in line with policies and budgets.
  • Ensure that all food safety standards are met and maintained in the care home.
  • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate special events and dietary accommodations for residents as needed.
  • Coordinate and communicate with the residents and relatives to ensure satisfaction and needs are met through continual feedback.
  • Follow instructions from the Head Chef and Sous Chef to ensure smooth day-to-day kitchen operations.
