Are you an experienced support worker or looking to begin a career in supporting young people in a service based in Hereford?
We have an exciting opportunity for a Waking Night Support Worker to join our Accommodation Based Services team providing housing and support to Care Experienced young people in Hereford. This is an Ofsted-regulated service looking after 16-25 year olds.
We are looking for Night Support Workers to join a new service in full-time and bank positions. We are looking for someone to work 45 hours per week, 8pm-8:15am on a rota basis. Applications from everyone are welcome, including those with lived experience and care experience.
Responsibilities
- You will assist the Management Team with the oversight of the home, leading on support and safety.
- You will be both a role model to the young people, continually pushing for the highest standards.
- Your support will be trauma-informed. You will understand people’s backgrounds and champion diversity and inclusion.
- There is so much variety. You could be helping someone move and settle into their new home, safety planning to reduce harm,
- helping someone secure their desired job or secure the place on the training course they have aspired to, support with independent living skills.
