We have an exciting opportunity for a Team Manager to join our Accommodation Based Services team providing housing and support to Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children, and Care Experienced young people in Wiltshire. Applications from everyone are welcome, including those with lived experience, care experience or refugees with Leave to Remain.
You will assist the Managers with the oversight of homes, leading on support and safety. You will be a role model and leader to the wider team, continually pushing for the highest standards for our residents, the service and the Charity. Your support will be trauma-informed. You will understand people’s backgrounds and champion diversity and inclusion.
There is so much variety. You could be helping someone move and settle into their new home, safety planning to reduce harm, helping someone secure their desired job or secure the place on the training course they have aspired to, support with independent living skills, and obtain refugee status.
The Role- You will re-enforce positive support being delivered and establish the same standards in new placements.
- You will lead and develop your team in implementing a strengths-based, trauma informed approach to empower young people in improving independent living skills.
- You will help to ensure the rota is covered with suitably trained staff and help with on-call duties shared amongst all managers.
- You will help to oversee and present the regular reporting to the Senior Leadership Team and the Local Authority, with help from the Registered Manager.
- You will provide the best leadership to your team, so they can get the best outcomes for the people they support.
