CCP is seeking a dedicated professional to work alongside the Responsible Individual, Registered Manager and Deputy Manager in building a new Children’s Home in partnership with Swindon Borough Council.

Responsibilities

  • Play a key role in the day‑to‑day care of children and young people within the home
  • Be a positive role model, providing guidance and support to the team
  • Help to ensure the delivery of high‑quality, nurturing care
  • Help to ensure the home is meeting Ofsted Quality standards
  • Promote a culture where children’s voices are central to all decision making
  • Promote a home environment that supports study, learning and personal growth
  • Support the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager by providing visible, confident and accountable leadership of the home

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children, young people and families
  • Strong understanding of contextual safeguarding
  • Good knowledge of Ofsted regulations and Quality Standards
  • Flexibility with regards to the rota and the changing needs of the children and young people
  • A relevant qualification in Residential Childcare and a commitment to ongoing professional development
  • A full UK driving licence and access to their own transport

Hours: Full‑time 34.42 hours per week, with on‑call cover as needed

Contract: Permanent

Location: Wiltshire

Pay: £25,892.10 per year (Band D), plus an additional £65 per sleep shift completed
